26 years ago it was with some nervousness I met my future Mother-in-Law, Margaret or as I called her (only when she wasn’t there though!), Maggie May .
I need not have worried Margaret’s heart was big to love her family & be a huge part of her grand childrens’ lives yet , still find special time to share with me & my two young children.
Margarets happy place was her bungalow and when all four children were there together it was usually very noisy & very busy!
Margaret spent many hours teaching my children how to play cribbage (& how to bet!) or playing bowls in the garden or at the beach.
I never saw Margaret do anything but smile when tbe children were around, she had unending patience & she never worried about her house being trashed or her bed being used as as a trampoline !
Margaret played an important and very significant role in their childhoods, which has contributed massively to then all having all grown into such lovely adults.
Margaret you made a lot of happy memories & like Alison, I too , send all the love possible , to the best Mother-in-Law & ‘psedo’ Grandmother anyone could ever have wished for .
