I first met Margaret about 20 years ago when we set up a local support group for Muscular Dystrophy. Originally we had our monthly meetings in a local pub but evenually when Margaret moved we were luckly enough to have use of the communal lounge for the meetings. Over the years we did many fund raising activites, such as the Christmas charity fayre, collecting at the WSM carnival and many more. But, most importantly, we all had one thing in common in that we were all directly or indirectly effected by muscular dystrophy, either as a parent, sibling, partner, or ourselves. We understood each others frustrations & worries . About four years ago due to changes in all of our circumstances we were unable to continue the group but remained in touch with each other. We were never a large group and recently two other members have passed away. Many of the group were unable to attend Margarets celebration day but everyone sent their love.

Margaret we will miss you. 💚
